  • 4 lbs turkey meat, cooked and diced
  • 1 tsp salt per pint jar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper per pint jar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder per pint jar
  • Water or broth as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare your canning jars and lids by sterilizing them in boiling water.
  2. Pack the cooked turkey meat into the jars, leaving 1-inch headspace.
  3. Add salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to each jar.
  4. Fill the jars with water or broth, leaving 1-inch headspace.
  5. Remove air bubbles by running a knife along the inside of the jar.
  6. Wipe the jar rims clean and place the lids on top.
  7. Process the jars in a pressure canner at 10 pounds pressure for 75 minutes for pints or 90 minutes for quarts.
  8. Let the jars cool before storing.

  • Use only fresh, high-quality turkey meat.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste.
  • Check jar seals after cooling. If any jars don’t seal, refrigerate and use within 3 days.
