A simple and delicious berry jam you can make at home with fresh berries and a few basic ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the berries, then roughly chop larger ones.
  2. Combine berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Stir frequently and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla (if using), and let cool slightly.
  6. Transfer to clean jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
