Ingredients

  • 4 cups cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp dill seeds
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Sterilize jars and lids.
  2. Pack cucumber slices tightly into jars.
  3. Combine water, vinegar, salt, garlic, dill seeds, and peppercorns in a saucepan.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil.
  5. Pour hot liquid over cucumbers, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
  6. Seal jars and refrigerate for at least 48 hours before serving.
