Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add shredded chicken, corn, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
