  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. Blend strawberries with water until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove seeds.
  4. Add sugar and lemon juice, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Sterilize jars and lids in boiling water.
  6. Pour hot juice into jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
  7. Wipe rims, seal with lids, and process in a water bath for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove jars and cool for 24 hours before storing.
