Crispy cauliflower bites coated in a sweet chili glaze, made in an air fryer for a healthier take on takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 green onion, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss cauliflower florets in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Dip coated florets in beaten egg, shaking off excess.
  4. Place florets in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  6. Toss cooked cauliflower in the sauce until fully coated.
  7. Return to air fryer for 2-3 minutes until sticky.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.
