Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the remaining marinade.
  7. Heat marinade in a saucepan until thickened.
  8. Toss cooked chicken in the sauce.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
