Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, shaking halfway.
  4. While the chicken cooks, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken it.
  6. Add the broccoli to the air fryer basket with the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Toss the cooked chicken and broccoli with the sticky orange sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the chicken with cooking oil before air frying.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Serve over rice for a complete meal.
