A quick and easy air fryer sandwich with juicy sausage, sautéed peppers, and onions on a toasted hoagie roll topped with melted cheese.

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 cooked sausage links, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss bell pepper and onion slices with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Air fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, stirring halfway.
  4. Add sliced sausage and cook for 3 more minutes.
  5. Split hoagie rolls and fill with the sausage and vegetable mixture.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top and air fry for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use precooked sausage for faster preparation.
  • Swap mozzarella for provolone or cheddar if preferred.
  • Toast the hoagie rolls lightly before filling for extra crunch.
