Crispy, cheesy, and slightly spicy cornbread muffin bites made in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and sugar.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in cheese and jalapeños.
  5. Spoon batter into greased muffin molds or silicone cups.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
