Crispy and flavorful cauliflower nuggets coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey BBQ sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret in the beaten eggs, then coat with the flour mixture.
  4. Dip the coated florets back in the eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the coated florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Lightly spray with olive oil.
  7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Mix BBQ sauce and hot honey in a bowl.
  9. Toss the cooked cauliflower nuggets in the sauce mixture.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the nuggets with oil before air frying.
  • Adjust hot honey quantity for desired spice level.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
