Crispy and flavorful chicken meatballs glazed with a sweet and spicy honey sriracha sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, green onions, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice.
  6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the glaze until evenly coated.
  7. Return to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  8. Serve warm with extra glaze if desired.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper in the air fryer for easy cleanup.
  • Adjust sriracha to control the spice level.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
