Crispy tofu nuggets cooked in an air fryer, served with a sticky sesame sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Place tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy.
  5. Mix sesame seeds, honey, rice vinegar, and sriracha in a bowl.
  6. Toss cooked tofu in the sauce and serve.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water.
  • Adjust sriracha for desired spiciness.
  • Serve with rice or as a snack.
