A quick and easy recipe for crispy chicken fried rice made entirely in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced chicken with soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, shaking halfway.
  4. Add cooked rice, mixed vegetables, and vegetable oil to the basket. Stir well.
  5. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring once.
  6. If using an egg, push rice to one side, crack the egg into the basket, and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Mix everything together and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use day-old rice for best texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Add more vegetables if desired.
